we worked so hard to bring democracy and change to the Maldives. We stood our ground and made the challenge and wont the fight;but did we really win the war???
the things we worked for:
1-Freedom of speech
2-End the dictatorship
3-Increase productivity and the Economy
4-Reduce government expenditure
5-Unite the people
What we have achieved:
1-Reduced tolerance and increased religious ambiguity
2-Increased violence and gang related crime
3-Economy in crisis
4-Increased expenditure
5-Greater divisions of people
SO WHAT THE HELLS GOING ON????
I think it is time that the people who stood for freedom stand up ounce more. This time to say keep your thoughts to yourself if you feel another is thinking wrong. Correct only actions that affect others in a negative way.Each has a brain and each to gain knowledge each to think for themselves. Each decision be guided by knowledge and fact and that in truth is the Islamic way. Im tired of this crap of religious divide causing the younger generations to loose faith in religion as a whole and soon we will have cliques of youth who will not believe at all and then we will be in real crap neck deep. STOP your preaching when you cannot follow your own. DAMN THESE POLITICIANS AND BUSINESSMEN WHO DO NOTHING AND SAY NOTHING UNLESS IT IS FOR THEMSELVES A FAVOUR
