the sound of distant joy leaves me puzzled and wondering
have i lost my way my sanity or the ability to comprehend
the happenings of now seem surreal and so fantastic
the dreams of so many realized and fulfilled to the maximum

am i alone i wonder every night as i lay down
do the words of my mind speak right i wonder
do the birds sing my song for you all i wonder
do you see my words reflected in your dreams at night?

The reality of change that i longed for
has come in the shape of too many things i cant comprehend
the ability to accept the desired life of my own
in this change is confusing the hell out of me

all the work of many forgotten in time if any
lives endangered for the many truth is lost in the sands of time
time has come to let the few who seek position over action
for those that rule to remmember who put them in their shoes i cry

Dear Mr.Gayyoom
My sympathies are with you.I envy your courage and despise your dictatorial rule.I will remember how you came and how you went through and through.Your 30 years of iron fist rule come to an end with the prevail of Democracy and Freedom in Maldives.No more swearing with guns in Maldives, No more Bimbi Force to beat up Reformists, no more solitary confinement and torture for outspoken critics of the government,no more nepotism, no more to hundreds of hungry and unsatisfied citizens, no more island detention due to improper transportation mechanisms,no more government policies aimed at profiting the selected few,NO more Torture and Child Abusers and Perpetrators to be FREE,no more Drug dealers in the government or high posts, No more Extremism Tolerance, no more foreign policies based on self promotion of the Supreme Leader,NO more lies to the public or disillusions, NO more laws made to protect the few in power but rather to defend the poor,No more ONE party system,no more children with malnutrition in the islands and no MORE to all those life and freedom depraving policies and no more tolerance of Dictator S!!!
I Still envy your shamelessness in facing a public you betrayed.I just wonder what goes through your mind these last few hours?I will pray for you...hope you do realize your ways and ask for forgiveness form the lord.Forgiveness for the torture of thousands and death of hundreds. The innocence lost of all those children you could not protect or rather did not!!
I have nothing but sympathy for all those ministers and supporters who follow you and all the people on your pay roll. What may become of them? SiLENT REVOLUTION has come...Those who opposed will not be forgotten...nor will they be treated in the in humane manner they treated their foes.
I envision a Maldives free of Gayyoom..beautiful and calm...progressing into the future ...technology and free thought...embraced by their beleif...freedom of speech...freedom to be who you are...peace and harmony and mercy for all...lowered hearts and empowered minds.
Please now i have to say this...take your pride and go to the court confess for your crimes and then we could pity you.Then we could realize we are not as evil as you.Let you have a fair trial.Remember,pain leaves a harsh memory vivid and strong, but it is of greatness to have mercy and give forgiveness,now who has more power do you realize?.
