Why the hell do we need REEF RESORtS????? are we out of silands of the 1200 we got?? has anyoen done detailed research into the Environmental Degradation it could lead to???? I mean for one thign the EIA Environmental Impact Assessment Report is done after a company bids and wins a reeef...hence who knows what the status is of the resort before it was made??? What would ahppen to the current, ocean life, and many mroe environmental factors??? Havent we learned lessons in putting artificial island barriers leading to erosion of the beaches???? why cant the government cut costs and invest on more environmentally friendly methods to gain money??? DO we want mroe money in five years and NO country in ten years??? ....I wonder if Reethi Rah will also turn into a resort soon...maybe i should sell my right hand to someone else...and be rich..maybe government should start selling young children in their state care centers..that definitely would bring in revenue...!!!! WTF!!!!!

I say drill for oil, its not going to happen on the reefs. i agree creating islands on reefs thus destroying then is totol bullshit.It is sign of desperation in part the Gayyoom regime, in one go trying to sell off islands close to the main international airport. They must in the midst of a huge financial meltdown. muahahahah we are all doomed
