well its about time the public wok up..cummon look aorund..look at the situation we are in now...not a single presidential candidate we can actually all agree on and support...wheres the allaiance???
ill just list three thigns that the candidates ahve forgotten to mention in their elaborate plans to cahgne the country of Maldives for the better
1-Environment-[have oyu forgotten we are jsut a metre abopve sea level and if you neglect the issue of sealevl rise and global warming we might actually nto ahve a country to fight over in the comming hudnred years or less??? did you think about it at all??? shame on you]
2-WhaT ABOUT ALL THE POOR people still licving in amke shift homes???? whose gonna look after them and change their lives..???
3- Economy is gopnna be still absed on tourism and fishing??? nothing new??? lame jsut lame...ask a nine year old and hell come up with better plans..
it seems more like each is out to change themsleves rather than anythign else..favour themselves and hteir friends for fame money or greed...WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!

i'll give u an example of wht i read on the economist a few weeks ago.....m sure uve heard abt the rise of the gulf...as the oil prices expected to hit $200 a barrel b4 end of ths year.....
n they are getting so much income tht they are trying to diversify n invest in new sectors.......
bt do u knw the difficulties tht they are facing??????they jst cant find a way to diversify their economy tht it wudnt depend mstly on the oil market......theyve got all the money in the world......bt they still are running into rough n tough zones....
So we maldivians where do u expect us to go with the limited resources and the very limited budget??????no whr.....bt invest on sumthing substantial...n stabalixe the market tht weve got a grip on rather than goin on to nythin new....m nt saying tht we shud stick to tourism all our lives....bt saying tht its nt the easiest of things to have a plan abt investing on new sectors ....thts y they(politicians)dnt tok abt it....nt tht they dnt have aplan or thote abt it....n yeah i wana knw the plan u havein mind...???n m sure uve got 1????
n abt environment i think maumoons dun enuf...i wud back wat maumoon said.....by saying tht all we cud do is tht jst make foriegn big countries aware of the problems we are facing.....n i think the environment is a huge issue in the world today.....n enuf thote is given into it....n weve got more important issues to concentrate on......we have to stop thinking abt things tht we dnt have ny control on.......
n the one thing uve forgot to mention is the......investing on the youths....they goin to drugs and being wasted with nuthin but getting into gangs needs to be stopped.....for the safety and assuarance ofthe general public and also for the benefit the economy as a whole with a well educated stable youth workforce.....sooo sum1'sgota cumout with a gud plan on how to invest on leisure n sports soo tht youths dnt get wasted.....hmmmm yeah soo all in all a good post bt as u always knw.....i'd like u to bevery precise hehee.....bt yeah i hope u answer all ma questions.....n ask me questions if uve got ny of wht ive said....well yeha ur blog has always been a gud read....n i enjoy commenting......
